Recommended Filter Media

Choose filter media according to your aquarium's requirements. Sponge is useful for mechanical filtration, ceramic media and bio-balls support biological filtration, and activated carbon can help remove certain dissolved impurities when used correctly. Check the compatibility and maintenance instructions for each medium.

Installation and Maintenance

Position the canister securely outside the aquarium and connect the hoses and fittings according to the supplied instructions. Fill and prime the system as directed by the manufacturer before switching on the pump. Check all connections for leaks and ensure adequate water circulation.

Disconnect the unit from the power supply before cleaning or servicing. Clean the filter media as needed, taking care not to unnecessarily damage beneficial biological bacteria. Verify that the voltage and plug are compatible with your local electrical supply before use.
