Product Uses

Use the Simplecom CA152 to connect compatible 3.5mm headphones, headsets and microphones to a computer or supported gaming device through USB. It is suitable for online meetings, voice chats, gaming, listening to music and everyday audio applications. A compatible single-plug TRRS headset can provide both headphone audio and microphone functionality through the headphone port.

Compatibility Note

Important: The adapter supports CTIA-standard TRRS headsets only; legacy OMTP-standard headsets are not supported. When a TRRS headset with an integrated microphone is connected, its microphone is activated and the adapter's separate microphone port is disabled. The adapter does not support inline headset controls such as play, pause or volume adjustment. It is not compatible with PS3, TVs, amplifiers, car audio systems or Xbox One because their USB ports do not carry the required audio signal.
